Clean Energy Ministerial: Industrial Deep Decarbonization Initiative

LeadIT has been invited to participate in a panel discussion as a part of the 12th annual Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) and the launch of the CEM Industrial Deep Decarbonization Initiative. This official side event is organized by UNIDO and will address clean energy adoption in energy intensive industry as well as the key actions needed to achieve industrial deep decarbonization.

During this session, LeadIT will be presenting the findings of a joint study with CEM and UNIDO on green public procurement. LeadIT’s Gökce Mete will also be a key panelist in a moderated discussion on Creating Market Pull for Low Carbon Commodities.

The Clean Energy Ministerial gathers countries, companies and experts for high-level panels with the purpose to accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy globally. This year’s CEM will be hosted virtually by Chile and audiences across the world will be able to participate by following the event on livestream.
