Webinar : Fostering a Low Carbon Transition in the Steel Sector
LeadIt Head of Secretariat, Per Andersson will give the key note address at a webinar organised by the Indian Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and the European Union Climate Dialogues (EUCDs).
This is part of ongoing work to build upon the groundwork established by the Strategic Partnership for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPIPA) project. This phase of the project aims to initiate and enable exchanges on climate policy options, expertise, success stories and good practices to drive the industry transition in hard to abate sectors.
This webinar focusses on the steel industry and seeks to leverage the expertise of key stakeholders in India to accelerate the journey towards a low-carbon pathway.
Following the Webinar, EUCD India and a team from Deloitte will utilise the insights given for a study “Decoding the Technology Outlook of the Steel Sector in India: A Comparative Study” and propose actionable recommendations.
